After beating the Warriors they're probably feeling like things could finally be coming together for this group. Time will tell though if they can get consistent.
They'll be at the top of the wish list for most buyout candidates. I bet they'll sign at least one. Joe Johnson maybe.Wondering why GS isn't looking to improve - at the very least their bench. But I also know they could benefit from getting rid of Pachulia & getting a real starting C.
Love the moves overall.
The only thing that could make it even better is if they somehow pull off a TT + Nets Pick swap for Deandre.
Yup...great trade for the Lakers.
Clarkson gets buckets.
But, this was the smart play.
yea, but they've beat them twice now - scratch that - blown them out twice now. Has to do a lot for their confidence, especially without Roberson. They beat them before but were still looking into trades. I'm wondering if they're waiting for Tony Allen to be released.
LOL go check a list of guys drafted #4 or later and get back to me. You can start with Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook
Mudiay to NY. McDermott to Dallas. Devin Harris to Denver.
Yea didn't factor in that option. They'll be at the top of the wish list for most buyout candidates. I bet they'll sign at least one. Joe Johnson maybe.
Whether he goes to the LAkers or not, it still helps the LAkers if he leaves CLE.
If LeBRon leaves CLE, Cleveland is likely a lottery team and as long as they don't get lucky and land a top-3 pick, the Lakers get a lottery pick out of this deal.
I'm dumb. Its this year's pick which obviously won't end up top 3
Yea didn't factor in that option.
So you think Sac will release Joe Johnson?
LOL go check a list of guys drafted #4 or later and get back to me. You can start with Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook
Yeah its being reported that he will seek a buyout and that the Kings are likely to oblige
Four of the top 5 picks from the draft 3 years ago are now in NY between the Nets and Knicks. The only one not here is the only one not hurt and playing at a high level in Towns![]()
According to Ramona Shelburne, who would know, Thomas is happy to be a Laker.
Would be great if this was all hyperbole.
Surprised Rachel Nichols would put this out there.
While discussing the deal on ESPN’s The Jump, Rachel Nichols revealed that Thomas’ agent texted her that Thomas would not be happy in a bench role.
“[Thomas’ agent] said, in capital letters, ‘HE IS NOT COMING OFF THE BENCH.’ The idea is that maybe they would want a buyout maybe, before they did something like that […] He’s not saying that he is looking for a buyout, he’s saying that he does want to start there and that if he wasn’t starting, Aaron [Goodwin], his agent, is saying that might make him want to look for a buyout.”
