Apparently, Gallo COULD be included in the deal. Don't know the details or anything but that would be a huge pickup for the Heat. Yeah I agree, Iggy should be just what the Heat need so I like the move for both teams

I imagine that means working Waiters into the deal and finding a third team to take him (which might take draft pick persuasion).

How the hell would they get Gallo though anyway? He is $22M this year. I heard something about restructuring his contract but I'm sure the Heat would have to give up Dragic or something. The Thunder are fighting for a playoff spot, why would they just give up Gallo like that

James Johnson, Waiters, and a draft pick

Iffff Riley pulls this off.....

This would be hilarious. Getting Gallo and Iggy for 3 players who basically didn't play this season due to injuries/being bench warmers will be amazing

It's going to take draft capital as well.

Why are we acting like Winslow offense was something special? He is a solid all around player but in the 11 games he played, he took a major step back when it comes to shooting the ball.

Also if the Heat manage to get Gallo then what's the problem?

Winslow's biggest problem is health. If he's on the court, he is a guy who could get a lot of minutes in the playoffs. Not sure you can say the same for Iggy at this point. We'll see.

Of course if this was a prelude to getting Gallo that changes the equation.

I would be absolutely, totally and utterly shocked if the KAT trade you mention goes down.

I personally put the likelihood of that happening at around .00327%

Not gonna happen.
So you're saying there's a chance!!

yeah Gallo is the piece in this trade. Iggy would be nice but I wouldn't expect high minutes or anything. If Riley thinks this will win them the East than go for it but extending Gallo means you cant go for any big FA's in 2021. So it's win in the next two years or rebuild after that around Jimmy who will be 32-33.

Riley won’t do anything that will fuck up the summer of ‘21.

Take that to the bank.

Crowder and Hill to the Heat from the Grizz as part of this Iggy deal.

Winslow/Waiters/Johnson for Iggy/Crowder/Hill? Picks possibly involved?

Sounds like this may just be a two team deal, as they haven't been able to get OKC to join in with Gallinari just yet.

As I wrote the other day, still feel the most logical trade partners for #Cavs Tristan Thompson include Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles Clippers, among a few others. But Houston traded its first-rounder to Denver. Dallas is encumbered with firsts. The return could be interesting.

Yeah if they are getting Crowder and Hill...then Gallo isn't in the mix. Crowder is decent...hasn't been that great this season

Sixers Burke, O'Quinn and Bolden not at shoot-around (2 need to be waived to make room for GR3 and Burks). Looks like O'Quinn is out for personal reasons, so Burke and Bolden likely getting waived.

Leon Rose to run the Knicks. From agent to team president? Following in Pelinka's shoes...

World Wide Wes to be involved too...
