No way should Theis be included in that conversation.

I'll say what I said in the general thread: I (for one) am not even convinced that Theis for Capela straight up would be a big upgrade for Boston. Add in a 1st and Langford and that trade is horrendous.

Replace Theis for Kanter and then maybe Ainge considers that one.

I think a contender can offer something a little better than "dumping salary."

The Wizards could want to dump salary, but those players could be valuable to the Cavs, especially if packaged with picks. That's really what it comes down to for a tanking team; picks and possibly some role players (even if overpaid).
