This was brought to my attention by WestEnd posting the following tweet from Sports Illustrated:
Have fun with this one.

Toronto, Seattle, Quebec City to join Vegas in 2017 NHL expansion
It could have also been brought to your attention in the "Ongoing NHL Thread" as well.
Good to see that Toronto is finally getting a team though...they deserve one.
To be fair, I've never seen the point of that thread - what is the reason of having a messageboard if all the hockey talk is supposed to be in one thread? Or am I missing the point completely? I am a bird after all, and my brain is only so large.
Beats me, but if someone started a new thread every time something occured in the NHL, or about the NHL, we would be knocking threads off the 1st page before they had a chance to breathe. Obviously moreso in the actual Season of course.
I guess it all boils down to whether or not the person posting it thinks it deserves its own thread?
Dash is just going to merge this into the other one anyways.

Why the fuck are we adding four teams?
We should have contracted two teams and moved two teams or something. I just don't understand this at all.
Talent pool is so damn diluted as it is, there's a team that's actually paying David Clarkson $5.5 million!
Maybe a team will claim him in the expansion draft in an effort to meet the cap floor?
He just fell down.
