Gronk when healthy deserves to be there. Health is the big issue with him though.

Anybody not putting Gonzalez #1 needs their head checked. Gronk will be there, but too early. Needs to prove he can stay healthy and put together a 10 year+ career. 2 amazing seasons doesn't warrant #1 all time (stomp). Top 10 ALREADY!? Meh. Dunno about that either.

I guess it's because I am a Cowboys fan, but I don't see how Jason Witten is not on this list. All players on the list are worthy, but there is no way I am taking Coates over Witten. I can make the argument for Witten over a couple other guys, too.

There's no way I take Antonio Gates over Witten either. He has significantly more receptions than Gates (he's second all time for TEs) and he's a better blocker than Gates. I'm puzzled as to how they could rank him higher. Because he's flashier?

Agree with that but when he has, he's been great and the best in the game.

Gates has almost twice as many TDs as Witten and a better AVG per catch so it's fair to say he is a much better receiving threat

My 1st thought when saying all time great TEs is Kellen Winslow.
I grant you with sports science (conditioning) & medicine there are those might be considered better now, but he is always my 1st thought.
