The only person voting for Griffey who has stated why he is doing it is DHoey. While I think his reasoning is asinine, at least he has a reason and is standing up for it. Everyone else is just doing a drive-by vote.

Second, you compared voting for Jr to voting for Nokes. Meaning it is like voting for some random no-name from 35 years ago (because, essentially, thats who Nokes is). Feed that into my first point in this post, and that explains my initial foray into this line of dialogue…
