Well, he didn't do his job very well...

Through his legs, up the middle, a hit.
Wandy with a magical performance on the mound (puns, I got 'em). 6.2IP, 2H, 1BB, 6K, 0ER. You go Wandy, you go. Followed up by TWats with a shutdown 4 outs and Grilli in for the kill. I like our bull pen, just hope we use it with the lead more often this year.
Jays already 0-2. Here we go again
The team looks good on paper, but baseball isn't played on paper, it's played on tv.

oooh, that's a bit offsides, innit?
Wandy looked fantastic. His fastball location was excellent in particular. He's not overpowering, but if you put it in the right spots, you'll get guys out. He worked the inner half especially well.
Watson's first three pitches were balls, but after that, he was as sharp as he could have been. Once again, the fastball location was utterly flawless.
Walker should be batting second, Jones fifth, and Sanchez sixth if we're going with those guys. Walker's hitting. Let him get on base for Cutch and Pedro.
I read something recently, can't remember where, that it makes way more sense for the best hitter on the team to bat out of the 2 spot instead of the 3. More at bats, better pitches to hit, etc. I have a feeling in the coming years you will see managers take that approach more often.
