Good point SP, but I still don't trust the situation.

This next year's draft... If I don't have a shot at Bell or AP in the 1st, I'd probably go WR without hesitating.

I like David Johnson. But the love affair the coaching staff still seems to have for Ellington worries me enough not to put him in my top 5.

As an Ellington owner, I'm pretty sure they hate him.

Noticed today that Fantasy Pros has their 2016 consensus player rankings up (based on 6 experts).

Of the first 2 rounds, 14 WR taken and only 9 RB.

Interesting - although not unexpected based upon the downfall of many 'top' RBs and emergence of those ranked in the 4-5th rds in 2015.

Not sure if I should start another thread or just use this one? FantasyPros has consensus rankings from 17 experts. Thought it would be fun to rip their rankings. (For space, I only copied the top 36 RB.)

David Johnson at #3 is way too high.
Devonta Freeman at #5 is too high.
CJ Anderson in the top 12 is too high.
Someone ranked Carlos Hyde as high as 5. Ballsy.
Forte (currently without a team) is too high.
Bernard who out-scored Hill is too low.
Lacy is too low. He might be heavy but the team he's on is lean and mean on offense.

Agree with every thing except the Lacy part. He'll have to prove he cares enough to get in shape IMO.

Would you guys draft Ingram 9th? Someone has him ranked 3rd. Crazy.

Even better. Here's the top QB, RB and WR all in one.

Look how far Matt Ryan dropped. I'd still take him above Derek Carr.
Ironic but I like the WR ranks. Watch Josh Gordon climb.

I feel a lot better now knowing there are others that just cannot get away from this stuff. I've been following the rankings for the past month (as always). I always find it interesting how the early rankings vary as time goes on. For now there's not much to argue over - the landing spots of Elliot, Henry, Treadwell, Miller, Doctson, and a few others may alter the landscape considerably though.

Forgot to add trades, injuries and regime (coaches) will alter the landscape as well.

Have to agree on Lacy being too low IMO...............and I see DMurray as a steal next year at the 20th RB taken................no more Potato Chip will get him more of a lead role IMO..........

Also, David Johnson at 3 looks about right to me. I personally would rank him #1 if I had to submit rankings today. There is nothing he can't do.

Freeman is going to be a risky player to draft, but I don't see too many players listed below that should be picked ahead. Freeman has a lot of upside as a 3 down back, but a lot of risk also.
