Why?will be missed.
should have just retire last year though
Why?
Why?
But he can do a 1 day sign and retire. So he could retire a lifetime Spur like TD and Manu.

What's wrong with the guy getting paid another year to play the game he loves?
Agreed, that's why I let it slide, it's his career not mine. For me personally it sucks having to watch diminished versions of great players. Tony Parker is a HOFer and a great point guard. It's a selfish reason more so than anything.

But you gotta live in North Carolina. So you know, give and take.$5,000,000 tho
It's because he could still play a little. He didn't want to be relegated to player-coach in San Antonio and he even said that himself.
That dude's body retired at least a year ago - Amazing that any one actually paid him money for the last year - but one hell of a player
Well you can't blame the guy for pretending to still be a relevant NBA player if some one is stupid enough to give him moneyYeah again it’s just a selfish reason. I understand his reasoning completely. But like I feel a lot of at least some of the fans new to the NBA in the last 5 years will never appreciate how great Vince Carter was in his prime. They’ll only see YouTube and his bench role.

He wasn't Tony Parker last year either - but he made a few million more - that's what that was about
