I know what the stats say, but two different eras. Dorsett was great, but i guess having an all time rushing leader in Emmitt Smith on the same team kind of left Dorsett without much love? I think Dorsett would be more talked about today had they both not played for the same franchise?

Emmitt and Aikman for that matter, benefited from one of the best offensive lines ever IMO. If Sanders was on that team he may still be running. Not saying Emmitt wasnt one of the best, he was a beast....but he got a lot of momentum before getting touched as I recall, I am old so I could remember something that was not true.

Dorsett was a hell of a RB. At the time, great college RB's didn't always make great pro RB's. Archie Griffin, Charles White, John Cappelletti. And there was some controversy. Some said the NFL stacked the deck so "America's Team" could get Dorsett. Tampa drafted first and took Ricky Bell. Seattle had the 2nd, Dorsett said he wouldn't play there so they traded the pick to Dallas. And there's a bit of a black mark because the Cowpokes only won one title while he was there.

Big big cowboy Tom Landry fan

TD was more the finesse RB , when he turned on the boosters, smooth ridin, he was gone

Emmitt was more powerful , both running and full back for short yardage

My pick TD
