I'm not saying that others weren't possibly better than Dorsett, just seems like his name isn't even mentioned anymore. Campbell, Dickerson, Peyton, Sanders, Oj, E. Smith........ You still hear about these guys. Dorsett, not so much. I think main reason is because he had the all-time rushing leader come up behind him on the same franchise. I'm glad you guys have decided to talk about someone other than Andy Dalton, with the exception of Sonny Black! We all know Andy is the Goat, but sometimes ya'lls constant discussion of him gets a little stale. IMAO.

argueable but Barry had more yards traveled behind the line of scrimmage b4 going a single yard than any top 10 list of RB’s put together
Barry may be more talented but I don't think we win 3 with Barry instead of 22. Emmitt got the tough yards, the short yardage one yard runs for first downs and TD's. He didn't kill drives losing 8 yards on first down dancing around. Emmitt was a winner who played hurt. Barry was more spectacular, but he killed many a drive and he jogged off thr field against 9 man fronts with the game on the line

Seems like back then, every team had a 1000 yard rusher when 1000 yards meant something......and they played 14 games as well.

Learn your NFL football. Brown's first four season it was a twelve game schedule.

Back in the 90's I would drive from NE Ohio to Detroit to see Barry play live.

As a runner sure. Complete ultra back is Payton. Run, catch, block, throw TD passes. Walter could do it all.
Please refrain from attempting to harm the Goat with fairytales of bums.

I could have run for 1000 yards behind the Bills O-Line of the 70's. He was an overrated stat padder before his life of crime
He slashed his way through those lines and left his tracks behind. :D

Seriously, it was a joke I don't have any respect for him as a player on top of the obvious.

While we’re in Texas I would take Earl The Pearl Campbell over either of those two

Favorite all time RB to watch, pure beast and he could run you over or outrun you…..ran into some tremendous run D’s when he played in the late 70’s and didn’t have much talent around him…eventually he was run into the ground by the Oilers which was very sad to watch……

Walter is the Goat in my book.
Emmitt's too and says it often
Emmitt will tell you he was a huge fan of Sanders

but asshats here now want to say emmitt wasn't even the best all time Dallas RB.

stupid hour is alive and well here at the hoop.
