2. Mesz - time to sit down for a game or two? its really looking bleak, when pronger and coburn come back i'd gladly give bourdon an extra game of experience at the expense of mesz

dishonorable mention - i was going to come on here and say that lava will be henceforth deemed a goat when shelley plays, however, tonight it looks like he didnt have a choice (harry Z sent to trenton for a roster spot for marshall).. but he still gets the mention because shelley played.. where there's a will there's a way, WAIVE HIS ASS!

Ya ward was good and the canes in general had quite a few fortuitous breaks. The phantom call on Simmonds started the bs off.

I thought Harts, G and Jake were good but unlucky. Bryz so so. Shelley wasn't great but didn't lose them the game. I guess you can't win them all.

I'm glad someone else saw this, it has been a trend, he's either taking a bad penalty or he's skating all over the ice with the puck only to turn it over.. Your not a play maker idiot, give it to someone who is and park your ass in front of the net where you belong. If he doesn't know his role then I would like to see him gone..

I didn't forget, I just was trying to keep it at either 1 person or the PK in general. Everyone played extremely well after the first period.

Couturier won the spot because he was just amazing. Talbot was pretty much on par with him along with the rest of the PK. If G wasn't so manly, they easily take 1st star.

Defense played great, one of their best of the year. Carle was flying. Coburn and Mesz were solid. Bourdon continues to impress. I hope he can stick around when Gust is healthy so we can say bye bye to Lilja.

Bob was just Bob. Bob Bob and Bob made some nice Bobs. He was very bob and bobbed a couple bobs.

Minus some of the 1st period and the penalties, everyone had a great game. Carey Price is the only reason it wasn't a blowout

This was one of few games I didn't really see.

Watched the first and we were just flat. Rangers weren't great either, but they outplayed us in every aspect.

Not a good start to the 24/7 series, but at least there was a lot of jawing and scrums.
