They have a title in the last 15 years

They actually have 4 titles in the last 19 years

Can you please tell me who has more than 4 titles in the past 19 seasons, being that you keep pissing on such an accomplishment

The Pats

LOL! The last time they won a title, I was single and living by the beach. Now I’m married with a kid in 1st grade. It’s been a while for the Yankees.

As for titles:
Last 5 years: Red Sox 1-Yankees 0
Last 10 years: Red Sox 2-Yankees 1
Last 15 years: Red Sox 3-Yankees 1

“Yeah, but Mantle and DiMaggio!!” Holy shirt!

Last 20 years - Yankees 5 Red Sox 3

Shall we go further back, or we could only work within the timeframe that makes your favorite team look better?

GTFO, you dont want a history lesson between these 2 franchises dude

Red Sox havent won shit in the last 4 seasons, they go out and buy a team every fucking winter, finish in last place every other season

At least the Yankees draw a line in the sand and say its time to rebuild, and they get to Game Fucking 7 of the ALCS

Watch and learn how shit gets done

Imagine if Dorsett could actually do anything? BB got screwed on this trade. I hope NE is saving him for the playoffs? The PO secret weapon BB always comes up with.

The fact that you have to go back 20 years to make your point is very telling. But you probably don’t even see that.

Also, you keep saying that the Sox “buy a new team every Winter”. So who did they buy last Winter? Mitch Moreland? Lol.

Haha we agree again. Sort of.
Dorsett is a waste of a roster spot. Not sure if Mitchell will make it back this year? So we're kibd of stuck with him unless BB brings up one of the kids off the PS? I don't see him trading for a WR.

Jacoby had a brutal day but he was under constant pressure all day. No real weapons. Not sure how much I blame on him? I hope Indy doesn't ruin him.

Fellow Red Sox fans and @DirtDirtDirt

Let's not forget that we are both loser teams right now.

Love Mitchell, an underrated loss for that offense, I think he would have taken a big step this season

Only today cause it still stings

But no one will look at this Yankee season as a failure, because expectations will always be factored in, and the future couldnt make us feel any better

As if going back 15 years is some sort of "recent" history to draw upon

Stop with the silliness

The Red Sox did exactly what they were supposed to do over 162, as predicted by everyone in March

They underachieved in October

The Yankees defied all "experts" predictions, both over 162 and especially in October...........The Dynasty is coming, we could have had this same conversation after losing to Seattle in '95

Yankees will do well in the future as long as they don't play the Astros in the playoffs.

Well my expectation for the Red Sox was to lose to the Astros in the ALDS. So I guess I shouldn't look at it as a failure either right?

I agree the Sox definitely underachieved.
Now can we get back to talking about Tawmmy Brady? After all this is a thread about him.

Agreed on the last two. What happened the last time the Sox met the Yankees in the playoffs? Can't remember.
