The Yankees were better in 2017 than the Sox.....That gap is only going to grow wider next season because Cashman is the best, and will do something that improves the Yankees, and Dombrowski is awful and will do something that cripples the Sox

I don’t get all the Dombrowski hate. He built the Marlins and Tigers into winners and he’s made some great moves with the Sox, too. He’s one of the best in the biz. Not sure Cashman is, though.

He is off to a great start at doing the same in Boston if you look at the parallels between the 2 situations and how he has gone about his business

But for a team expected to be in October, it would be a bit concerning to me that his September history is not a good one, so I wouldnt expect much to be left of him in October
