Luke just needs to get healthy and go to Round Rock to start the season to prepare for coming up when we have our first bullpen injury.
Eric Nadel had a raving review of Nick Tepesch's performance. He was impressed with the movement on his pitches. Tepesch faced the minimum.
But what if Gonzalez and/or Martinez have already done that this offseason as well. Could make for some very solid depth.Good to hear. Wouldn't this be a good and surprising turn of events if he won the 5th spot?
And I look at it like, this will give more time for Gonzalez and Martinez to develop a true "out pitch" plus give us strong reserves for the inevitable injury/fatigue.

Hope he continues to have a great ST and then continues to build his confidence in RR to start the year by tearing the cover off the ball there too. With the Desmond acquisition though I don't think there is any way even with a phenomenal spring that he should make the big league roster and sit on the bench waiting for PT
