1st College game I went to was in 1980 when Neil Lomax and the Portland State Vikings beat Delaware State 105-0. My first Duck game was in miserable weather in 1983 when they tied Oregon State 0-0. There was like a billion punts in that game. I would say 1983 was when I began consistently watching CFB on TV.

That's 16 years without UCFootball in FBS for you.

Sounds like you had a good dad
It was all about my grandpa. My ol man was too busy hopping states in order to dodge child support. The times my dad, uncles and cousins went to the Apple Cup (before Oregon was a rival) my grandpa made them take other boats because he didn't want me and my younger cousin to get caught up in the drunk fighting with Cougar fans. My dad, uncles and older cousins went to the Apple Cup for one reason and one reason only .. fight Wazu fans after the game outside the stadium. This was before the cops would throw you in jail for that shit. Everyone would take R&R whisky back then because the bottles were square shaped and thick as fvck. After they drained their bottles they'd use them for viking war hammers vs the Cougar crowd .. who did the same.

My friend's parents took the two of us to see Donnie Anderson play at Texas Tech in 1965. Been hooked ever since.

31 years which may be older than your kids, without UCFootball for you.

You've been following cfb only 2 years less than UCF was UCFounded

I hit all the titty bars in Orlando on Orange Blossom Tree Drive in 1989...and got into a fight with some old bikers in the parking lot.

So, I guess Imma' UCFan too! And I still am because I took the kids to Diznay last May.

Sounds counterproductive to being a cfb fan unless I want to live in a turrible state.
