The Big 12 conference!!!You take away Clemson and UCF and what do you have???
The ACCAAC super conferenceYou take away Clemson and UCF and what do you have???
Not arguing that it is better than before, nor that they are speaking more of them. That isn't the same thing as OP claiming it is proof that UCF is changing college football for the betterment of the game.Better than what they've been saying the last 2 years. Seems to be all positivity now regarding UCF and the football program from analysts who didn't have those same things to say last year.
Thankfully ESPN is nothing more than ESPiN talking heads that have no input on the playoffs. Or really anything for that matter. From ESP5N

No. 1 UCF
True freshman Dillon Gabriel made his second straight start and dazzled once again, supplanting more heralded transfer Brandon Wimbush to cement the job after throwing for 347 yards and four touchdowns in a decisive win over Stanford. The Knights have made a habit of beating ESPower 5N teams in nonconference play, so what happened Saturday is nothing new. But what was on full display was a team playing with a confidence, an edge and a speed advantage that flummoxed the Cardinal throughout the game. On top of it all, UCF was more physical than a team that has built its name on playing a physical brand of football. Whether an impressive win like this carries any weight with the College Football Playoff selection committee remains to be seen. If history is any indication, the victory will be explained away as UCF beating a team that was not ranked and not that good. But this was a big win, and the best thing UCF can do is to continue to win games like this to stay in the national conversation. The Knights will get another chance to make a statement in their final regular-season game against a Power 5 opponent next week at Pitt, a team it beat 45-14 last season. -- Adelson"

Stanford is a shell of themselves and whatever hack wrote that up clearly hasn't paid any attention to west coast football. That too really isn't anything new. They are at least 3-4 years behind on data from anyone out west. Look at how much they have pumped Oregon when they haven't really been a team worth promoting in 4 years.
More of the same from you really. Entirely blinded by the love of your team/school and completely ignorant of the history of the game and the nuance of understanding what it really means when ESPiN is hyping on something.
Other than natties , historical relevance , recruiting , sports other than football , donors and tv money they're really basically even
ACC doesnt have a school who toyed with the idea of dropping down to the FCS but instead is going to leave the conference and go independent.
Oh you're one of those who cares more about stuff off the UCField.
Winners like me only care about winning

Match up both conferences top to bottom and ethier take out the best and worst team or the middle 2 teams in the ACC and play it out.
Me thinks the ACC gets more wins.
An honors you know this thread becomes a fallacy should UCF lose at Heinz field.
The AAC is 19-31 vs the ACC all time
