Very close stats, there is this myth that Manning puts up the stats where Brady just wins. Both win a lot of games and both put up great stats. Better receivers in more years and playing in a Dome has helped Manning accumulate a bit more gaudy stats. As soon as Brady had the receivers, his stats jumped, just like this year. Its not all the QB, you need players around you. Give them the same players and I'd take Brady.

Do you think Luck misses Reggie Wayne??

Harrison,Wayne, and Clark still account for 45% of Manning's career stats. Welker, Moss, and Gronkowski which where in my opinion the 3 most talented, account for 25% of Brady's career stats. Talent and dome a side, this was a huge advantage for Manning. No debating this period!!!

Honestly, at this point, I don't think there's much of a question who you take as your QB. In my opinion, the only way to separate elite QB's is to look at their biggest games, and Brady has just been flat out better and more successful in these games than Peyton has.

Just not in the last decade. He did really show up big in the early years when his defense carried him, though.

Left out the most important stat. W-L record.

This thread was to inform the Manning fans that use stats as a measuring stick but here ya go.

Manning 14-9
Brady 13-8

Not many, since they were all road games. I could dig that up also.

Considering the division rivals it wouldn't be a stretch to say Manning had the advantage in playing conditions, I am not digging that deep.
