Lol!

Chicago has the best sports fans, and it's not even close. Chicago's loyalty and knowledge of sports is 2nd to none.

Hold on here. Cleveland has the best and most loyal and the most patient fan base. I'm talking about people who have sacrificed 5 years of their life expectancy just off stress alone.

Who gives a shit....I'll take either QB. Once they are gone, they will be missed....

+1

Sick of this debate in general. Indy/Denver fans will say Manning. NE fans will say Brady. The ones that are neither fans will dislike Brady cause he has more SB titles.

Endless loop of rinse and repeat

Manning's a great QB, but he's honestly not my second choice. He's handed away too many games.

Manning is getting better with age because Brady is aging playing the extra games in his youth.

at peaks Brady won enough...nice to give Manning a chance now....sorta of like Montana giving Elway a few bones at the end of his career.

1. Stupid debate. They're both great.
2. Brady's got Manning's number. When things started collapsing you could see that "It's happening again! WTF??????" look on his face on the sidelines.

Manning has just about everything on Brady except for the "IT" factor. I don't know how many times you have to rebuild a team around one player and be a contender before you have to admit that the guy is the best of his generation. If it were a system thing then everybody would be doing it. Seems to only work in NE though.

Brady vs Manning stats

I know its been hammered to death but I am new and wanted to add my 2 cents.

I accumulated regular season stats vs playoff qualifying teams on the road from 2004-2012. No arguments can be made that these are the most difficult games. I picked 2004 to give Manning a great start:)

These debates are ridiculous. Brady / Manning / Rodgers / Flacco...they're all great.

Manning is an all-time great but I really do think he needs things to be just right for him to be great. He has the best talent around him this year, but put him in bad weather and he struggles (which most QB's do).

Brady has proven he can play his game in bad weather, and can continually have turnover at WR and succeed.

Belichick won the toss and deferred. If it was Brady on the other sideline would Belichick have deferred??....would any other coach have deferred with Brady on other sideline? I don't think so.

Manning is as knowledgeable as it gets, almost to a fault. You can bait him, hence the reason he turns the ball over more than Brady. I, for one, thinks Brady is every bit as knowledgeable and great at the line, its just that his coach is Belichick so he doesn't get his fair credit in that area. Belichick is a defensive genius and is often talking to defense when Brady is out on the field.

Still haven't seen anything Manning can do that Brady can't except lose 1st round home games while heavily favored at an amazing rate.

Not a fan of team either plays for but I'd take Brady in a heartbeat and I had that opinion since 2004. Manning, after his great record breaking season put up 3 points in NE in playoffs. NE was ranked #2 in defense and it was a cold day. Brady the next week went into an even colder Pittsburgh and faced their #1 defense and absolutely lit them up. My mind was set, Brady over Manning.

Very close stats, there is this myth that Manning puts up the stats where Brady just wins. Both win a lot of games and both put up great stats. Better receivers in more years and playing in a Dome has helped Manning accumulate a bit more gaudy stats. As soon as Brady had the receivers, his stats jumped, just like this year. Its not all the QB, you need players around you. Give them the same players and I'd take Brady.

Do you think Luck misses Reggie Wayne??

How is starting in 2004 giving Manning a great start? Brady was statistically average prior to 2004, while Manning had been posting elite numbers for a half a decade and already made four pro bowls. Manning already had five 4000 yard seasons to Brady's zero.
