Just because they are more competitive while they are restocking doesn't mean that they don't have most of the pieces for the next several years ready to go. They even have a better backup plan at QB than most teams, although he may not be a long term solution.

Thursday's game should be interesting. A shortened weak should favor the weaker team since more variables come into play (less time to gameplan/injuries etc). Brady and his receivers need to get their timing down and really be on the same page or the Jets D could surprise them.

I predicted it in the pre-season (BEFORE Dustin Keller had his season ending injury)... but ... Miami's Defense combined with their improving Offense should still own the AFC East.

If the Pats get healthy they can still win it. Honestly though I can see that they may not win the division this year.

Then again Brady is Brady and as much as some may hate the guy he has always been a winner. Bottom line is the Pats are 2-0 and Brady and company get a long break to work on stuff and after tonight I am sure BB will be pushing pretty hard cause he knows. Not to mention possibly get healthy and Gronk back.
