Let's face it, he's not getting younger and is probably at or near the end of his elite career. Doesn't mean he sucks, just means he's not what he was. I'd still take him over most others. At this point Rodgers and Brees are about the only 2 I'd take over him right now. There are one or 2 others I'd have to seriously consider, but the rest? yeah right.

anyway, So ESPN decided to take a "gamble" and write an article on a great qb that had a down year thanks in large part to injuries, and is also getting older and say he's not what he once was. If he does show decline this year, then they're "right". If not, they'll do another one next year and maybe they'll be right then, if not, they'll do it again the year after and hope to be right. One of these years they'll get it right :)

I hate the offseason! The media scrambles and scrapes to find something worthy to talk about and we gobble it up because we crave the NFL.

Tom Brady is still an elite quarterback and leader of his team. I would take him on my team any day. I think he has at least 3 or 4 good years left. His biggest opportunity lies in the Patriots front office. They need to provide him with more weapons on offense. There are some play makers on that side of the ball but the total offense lacks enough options for Brady to really push that offense. We'll see how their off season pans out but I don't see anyone overtaking the Patriots in the AFC East this upcoming season.

Based on last season and his abysmal performance in the AFC CG, you think "he has at least 3 or 4 good years left?"

It's post's like this you miss JDM, Sonny should be along any second....

JDM and Sonny are okay on the subject of the Patriots. It was catchbluefish and Briz that were the worst.

Mention Tom Terrific, Robert Kraft or the Pats and their response was always the same.

"Blah blah blah when we beat the Titans in 2007, blah blah blah Pacman Jones blah blah blah Haynesworth."

what happened to JDM ? someone holding his/her head underwater somewhere ?

SFNL gave him a week off to "de-snob" and he got offended and left. Too much pride, that one!
