It amazes me when people judge individual's entirety by what they do on a football field. If he needs to hate his opponents to play his best, and he needs to act a certain way to get himself fired up, let it be. Would you rather he be well-behaved in Compton dead on the side of the road, or a punk on the field who gets the job done?

To be fair, we don't know exactly what Crabtree said that irked Sherman. Even so, I agree that silence is a good weapon, as the Go-Go's astutely pointed out in "Our Lips Are Sealed"
