Patriots couldn't get anything going at any point in the game. Blount had what 6 yards. Broncos defense put up and shut up the Patriots plain and simple. No excuses.... The Patriots did NOT perform and the Broncos did. Best of luck!

Where is Brandon Lloyd when you need him?

Guy is out there mentally a bit, but great hands and athletic ability. He can twist his body in mid-air to adjust to catches. Just not physical enough.

Brady's struggles with the deep ball were a big storyline today.

Agree...Brady had to be almost perfect but two bad overthrows blew any chance of keeping it close. Lack of pressure on Manning was the biggest factor in game IMO.

I would like you to find me making any excuse on any of the posts on this game. In fact I dont recall seeing any from any Hoop poster. I admit I was not around for the game thread very much but all of the posts I saw said GG or the like to the Bronco's and Manning.

Brady is not a choker. He just did not play well nor did the Patriots as a team.

Broncos executed better on both sides of the ball.

But if the NFC team that advances happens to play better than the Broncos and hoists the Lombardi it won't matter if Peyton throws for 500 yards and 5 TDs.

The chuckleheads who's football acumen is derived from watching Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless will still stoke the flames for the choke narrative.

Me personally the 49ers for some payback from 89.

But I think we match up better against Seattle.

Outside of Seattle that D is just above average, not great and they can't throw the ball all that well.

Both have QBs who can run and make multiple players miss but if your D plays like the did tonight they can handle either. It does appear that the 49ers have more weapons on offense then Seattle but when the OL gets going Lynch is unstoppable. Either team the Broncos face it should be an epic battle!
