Much has been made of the supposedly contentious relationship between Sloane Stephens and Serena Williams, but is it so bad the young star would laugh and cheer at her elder's demise?
A video making the rounds on social media had many tongues wagging, as it appeared to show Stephens laughing and trying to high five a friend as Ana Ivanovic celebrated her stunning win over Williams in the fouth round of the Australian Open.
But Stephens insists that's not the case ... and she has a pretty good defense.
"We were just having some fun," said Stephens, who was sitting next to hitting partner Andrew Fitzpatrick in the players' lounge.
"At the end of the match, Ivanovic's coaches pretty much gave each other head butts and kisses. I thought that was the funniest thing ever because I have never seen a more excited head butt-kiss at the end of a match."
"Andrew and I were like, 'Oh my God.' We were going to do the same thing. We were so excited. We had a lot of time on our hands obviously."

Msg to Sloane: you have won NOTHING, not even 1 title, the only title you have EVER won is an ITF circuit match! By the time Serena was your age (21), she had won slams and several titles! So she lost the AO, she will come back better next time. You should get busy trying to win 1 title, then you can do your "high fives"!!!

I have tried hard to like the girl, being an American and all, but the girl is devious and sneaky, its tough to like her! And they built her up to be something she is not! If she makes top 10, I believe she will be the only player to reach top 10 WITHOUT winning a title! I may be wrong, but check it up! The girl has got a big mouth!!
