Don't worry. Serena never seems to have an injury until she is getting beat. She should have no problem in the Aussie, but you never know with the women. If the weather gets ungodly hot anything can happen.

I keep wondering why this thread is on the main board so much....I must have been lucky enough to logon right after someone else posted.

but it is refreshing to see there is one person that feels the same about tennis as I.

Let's put it this way. Put Sharapova in one of those short little skirts and I'll watch her play. Put Serena in anything, no matter what it is, and unless her opponent is a babe, I'm changing the channel.

Now, let me ask you; do you think any female player in history or even current player can play and not be destroyed by Andy? Taking Serena to claim she would tarnish the perception of her greatness is to posit that she is the only female player who will be destroyed by Andy. And we all know it is patently false.

Any woman that thinks she's good enough to play with, let alone beat, a top male player needs to be admitted to a psych ward. I never said any other woman would stand a chance, though I think Graf would have had a better shot than Purina.
