10 Most Overrated And Overpaid Players In The NHL

It's a slideshow, and through some sort of voodoo deslidified cannot deslidify it.

10: Evander "Living up to the name" Kane
9: GOD DAMNED HERO Brandon Dubinsky
8: Kari Let'emin
7: Dustin "used ta be Cap'n" Brown
6: Ryan "was a god but then got traded out of NYC" Callahan
5: Erik "The other shit D-man named" Johnson
4: Zach "So irrelevant, 43 can't even come up with a nickname" Bogosian
3: Eric "One of many" Staal
2: Rick "Why did I ever agree to this shit" Nash
1: Zach "At least I am close to home" Parise

How did Ryan 'Ask my former teammates if I'm a good teammate' Kesler escape this list?

Solid list...I was gonna disagree with Bogosian because I don't think he's really over rated, but over paid fits.

Eric Staal makes 3.5... even if he's on the decline, that's not ridiculous by any means... you could make an entire line of worse contracts in Toronto... Lupul-Laich-Michalek

The overrated part matters here - you'd have to make an argument that any of Lupul, Laich or Michalek would even have an NHL contract if they didn't have their current exorbitant deals. The only guys on the list who might not get contracts were they currently UFA are Brown and Callahan and even then I think someone stupid would give them a 1 year shot.

The list is probably dated (says Staal plays for NYR) so that's likely why his contract is on it. At the time it was a terrible deal and to hear people talk before the deadline it sounds like hockey people hadn't watched him play the last 3 years and thought he was still capable of getting near 100 pts (which he hasn't done since his rookie season).

and then he took out her knee :thumb:
I'm not even sure that Marchand could get low enough to take out a little girl's knees. I mean that in the literal sense, not that he's not enough of a scumbag.

I'm thinking Raffi might have a hard time hitting her because he'd probably leap right over top of her. Force of habit, you know.

With all of these stories of WTF invites to camp, I could have poked a lot of fun. But I didn't. Something told me not to.

I'd prefer he brought Rachel Hunter. The one from 1989.
