Hey, I don't blame Rutherford for asking, but there's no chance in hell the Flames are moving the 6th overall pick for Fleury. I don't even know if I would move it for Matt Murray. Now, we do have a 2nd round pick (35th overall) that we could move for MAF.
Risk you take.Flames might be in the draft lottery again with a higher pick next season.

Would you move it for Korpisalo? And Atkinson?
If I were the Jackets, I'd be gauging the market for Bobrovlaw.Would you move it for Korpisalo? And Atkinson?

I understand with the expansion draft people expected a run on goalies, and that still may pan out, but while the market is shallow there are still 3 or 4 teams who need an upgrade in the crease and maybe 3 goalies that are remotely attractive available. Pens can expect a first rounder for Fleury; I wouldn't want my team giving one for him but for teams like Calgary, Carolina, the Isles or Dallas who have playoff aspirations maybe it's a worthwhile gamble.
I'm still talking about next year's.Put it this way, I'd rather keep the 6th overall pick and take a run at Reimer in free agency than part with it for Fleury. It's a moot point in my opinion because unless the Pens are willing to add more there's no way the Flames are going to do it.
When would they charge Benning for putting LSD in Jarmo's cup?after dreger said cbj wants to include salary going out in any deal for the 3rd i saw this:
CBJ trades # 3 overall and Hartnell for Canucks #5 overall and the future Torts related 2nd rounder
I'm still talking about next year's.
If the Flames moved the 6th pick this year they're crazy, I don't care what's coming back save, like, Jamie Benn or John Tavares or something.
You need to keep adding, my friend. Throw in Bjorkstrand and it intrigues me.

The thing is, the cap. Great, keep the third, draft a superstar. Fine and dandy. For Bjorkstrand, you'd need to send back the entire Flames Roster and the top 20 participants from the Red Mile.
I wonder where all these "insiders" are getting their information. I imagine Jarmo sitting around, calling them and faking an accent and trying not to laugh as he says things like "Yes, we will trade but someone has to take Salary".
Two of Tyutin, Johnson, Clarkman, & Hartnell PLUS a swap of 1st rounders and a #1c incoming is probably what he's asking. And if anyone does it, they should be fired, shot, buried, dug up and shot again.

I do t think that's the expected return either. Sure, maybe GMJR asked, because that's how negotiations work, but this is a pair of seconds, or second and prospect kinda move. Now the Bishop stuff is coming out, but...wouldn't he be much more expensive with the risk of being just a year deal? The reason I think MAF makes sense to Calgary is because he has three years on that contract and gives the Flames some stability in goal until Gillies is ready.
Pix wants more rumo(u)rs - Here we go (lol):

Reports out of Canada have a deal in the works for the #Lightning to trade Ben Bishop to the Calgary Flames.
Because Calgary = Canada
pix, I would like to add Fleury, I think he's a fine goalie and he would be a big upgrade in net. It just isn't worth the 6th overall pick and I don't think the Pens could add much to the package to sway BT's mind. As BBB states, is it worth a first round pick in 2017?!? That is something worth exploring, yet this could still be a pretty high first round pick.
The bottom line for me is the following: Is MAF that much better than James Reimer who won't cost you an asset?!?
