It's early to start discussing it, but what do you think of these odds?

With the help of the folks at NBC sports, I see the A.L ROY might be a more interesting race. Not in the most traditional way, in that this year, there has really been no A.L rookies to do much to speak of just yet.

Anyone?

Bueller?

All the good rookies are in the National League.

As far as that race is concerned, I have to say that Shelby Miller is in the driver's seat but Yasiel Puig is a darkhorse that shone bright as a comet for a week...hope his shoulder is OK.

Not playing a homer but think Jean Segura should be in the running.

Puig is a good story, but will he keep it up?

All of those pitchers HD had in the tweet IMO will fall off a little as their innings count gets high like Lance Lynn decline after mid August last year.

He has not been in a slump this month, but I think "in a lull" would be correct. He needs to pick up his game again if he wants to remain in the running here.

I for one am pulling for him to continue to do well.

Lynn was a bullpen guy converted to starter. Did a stint the in the bullpen last year when he was struggling, then came back and was a good starter again.

He also changed his offseason conditioning to be better prepared to be a starting pitcher this year.

I think it is a big difference going from bullpen to starter than starter to bullpen when coming from minors to majors. Guys like Shelby Miller have been starters their whole careers, and would only be limited by a team cap on innings, not from getting worn down as the season progresses, imo.

Forgot I drop him last year because he wasn't a starter anymore.

But explains inning counts on arms such as Stephen Strasburg and Chris Sale being in when to shut down talk in 2012.

Would be the 1st SS since Robin Yount that we can depended on for years.

But thought we had one when JJ Hardy was here.

Has Matt Harvey been mentioned? Another insane outting today. Lost the no hitter in the 7th, 7IP, 1 hit, 0 runs, 13 Ks. The guy should have about 4 or 5 more wins, the Mets offense and bullpen are just horrendous.

He came up for the 2nd half of last year, so I'm not sure how it works. If it's a certain number of games or if there is a certain date that is the cut off to determine it?
