I think this year he will not run much. I think he will be told to not run to much and throw away . Reason is simple . it is about getting him to get the system mastered this year. I think towards the end of the year they will let him let him run more .

One of the things that drew me to Bo Nix as a QB prospect - he doesn't risk the ball - his life and limb or waste time off the clock - if the game situation doesn't require him to do so. Some QBs never figure that out.

For the record I think Bo will have a nice rookie year but like any rookie QB he is going to have to take a few bumps on the way. Only natural of any rookie QB.

I don't think Bo will take a lot of sacks. He aint Russell Wilson. One of the most impressive things to me with Bo is quick thinking.... Which is why he gets so many Drew Brees comparisons... Not going to get ahead of myself but if we have a more mobile Drew Brees (and it will take time) we will all be dancing in the streets.

That number is way to high for sacks ,,,I know real time he will get sacked but I think it will be lower like coloradobuff numbers 26 or lower .

The thing about Nix is not how good he is - it is how fast he learns and how dedicated he is to his craft.

If Bo plays all 17 games and only takes 26 stats that would be unprecedented for a Rookie. Last year of QB's who played at least 16 games Josh Allen was the least sacked with 24 and Mahomes had 27 in 16 games. Mahomes sack % which is a better measure is elite over his career so besting a Mahomes season in his rookie year would be amazing.

I love where this team is at too and how we are building but also know building is a process. We can have a successful and not make the playoffs. That all starts with our QB position progressing as the season goes on.

Out of respect for the legendary @LGM - and in an attempt to break him out of his usual stupor - I feel like the guy in Plato's Allegory of the Cave.

Let's say all Broncos fans spent their entire life in front of a cave wall and the shadows projected onto that wall is all those Bronco fans know about the Denver Broncos. In that scenario - all those fans would be in general agreement that the shadows on the cave wall is Denver Bronco reality. Then suppose - one of those fans - Mingo - leans back in his chair and falls backward head over heels. Mingo gets up and sees the shadows on the wall - but now also sees that the cave continues in the other direction. Mingo follows the cave and comes out into the Sunlight. Now Mingo sees the true Denver Broncos reality. Being a kind and gentleman caveman - Mingo feels like it is his responsibility to go back in the cave and bring the other Bronco fans out into the daylight. Guess what? They think he's crazy.
