I don't think you bench him until someone says they have evidence of him getting paid---just like UGA did.

It's not like these autographs just appeared overnight this week

The point is that what Jimbo said is true. He only said that he spends x amount of time before and after games signing. He also said he is very accommodating in staying late to sign stuff. He said nothing more.

Like it or not, assumptions do not prove guilt. Do I believe he got paid? Of course. However I'd think the upmost precautions were taken to prevent their being proof by the dealers. Cash payment and, even going so far as coaching Winston on how to act with the money. Don't flash it around, don't put it in a bank account, etc..

Without proof, there is nothing and you can't punish someone for nothing.

We know he has signed thousands of autographs, that isn't against NCAA rules.

Actually, if they are being sold and he knows it, it is against NCAA rules.
