Well Coleman did not get drafted... And the only news that I've seen from rookie camp invites is Linehan accepting a tryout with the Vikings, and Duckworth with the Jags.
Vikings undrafted free agent tracker
He'll field a tryout I'm sure. Wouldn't be surprised if that turns into a PS spot.Yeah Coleman basically dropped out of the draft in most mocks in the 3 weeks between when I posted that and this weekend. I'm still surprised he hasn't signed anywhere yet.
FUCK! Huge blow to the defense. If I'm being honest though, good for him. He was the 11th highest graded LB in the nation last year according to PFF. If he continues to dominate on a bigger stage of the MWC then he could potentially get drafted in the top end of the NFL draft. This is what fucking happens when give up on the football program. Players give up too.
Boise State football will add transfer from a most unlikely place: its oldest rival
According to the link you posted about Lashley leaving... Sannon & Coleman got rookie tryouts as well. Onunwor's gotta be bummed.Surprisingly Jordan Rose has a tryout with the Chiefs. Surprised it's not the Raiders as Tom Cable tends to like big dumbass goons.
After seeing some mocks a few days before the draft I was pretty sure no Idaho guys were going to go but I thought for sure Coleman and Duckworth would get signed as undrafted free agents.
So far just three rookie mini camp invites for Linehan, Duckworth, and Rose. Considering the 2009 H-Bowl team had four draft picks including a first rounder in Iupati, this is pretty disappointing.
VANDALS TO GET NFL LOOKS: A handful of former Idaho players will get rookie mini-camp tryouts — quarterback Matt Linehan (Vikings), running back Aaron Duckworth (Jaguars), offensive lineman Jordan Rose (Chiefs), wide receiver Jacob Sannon (Raiders and Lions), and defensive lineman Aikeem Coleman (Raiders).

This coming just weeks after the boosters dropped the hammer...University of Idaho president to leave after next school year
Good news, but the damage has already been done.
Yeah he was essentially forced out, but it was clear when he tried for the UNM job that he would rather be somewhere else anyway. He probably just didn't fight it when he was asked to leave. This coming just weeks after the boosters dropped the hammer...
Boosters asked State Board of Education to oust Idaho President Chuck Staben
He knew he wasn't wanted, but I wonder if this decision was as "mutual" as the article you posted indicates. I'm thinking it wasn't. Whatever the case, I'm glad he's gone.
Fuck you Staben.
Glad he didn't fight it. But still sucks ass that the athletic department is left in ruins.Yeah he was essentially forced out, but it was clear when he tried for the UNM job that he would rather be somewhere else anyway. He probably just didn't fight it when he was asked to leave.
Oh yeah, this doesn't really fix anything. But Spear is likely on the way out too so maybe this keeps things from getting worse for now. Maybe. Hard to say with the U of I and the SBOE. Just gotta hope they can get some decent hires.Glad he didn't fight it. But still sucks ass that the athletic department is left in ruins.

Next year is going to be rough. Allen and Sherwood the only experienced guys coming back. Probably looking at Geno West, Garrett Kingman, and Scott Blakney as the other starters. All three averaged <6 minutes a game this year. Only other returner who had playing time this year was Chance Garvin.
Can't blame Lemle. Seemed destined to hold a clipboard anyways. Did Richardson lose some weight this offseason? If he could be a little more mobile I could see him starting over Petrino. If not, then Petrino definitely gives them a more dynamic offense that Paul loves and will likely be the starter.Reports are that Dylan Lemle has left the program. If true, probably because Paul Petrino just made it clear earlier today that Mason and Colton Richardson are battling for the starting QB spot. I'm sure losing out on reps to the coach's clearly inferior kid has to be frustrating.
Didn't think Paul was stupid enough to actually trot Mason out as the starter, but I'm starting to think I may be wrong.

Well according to this photo from last month... Not muchLemle is apparently on campus still, so it could all be rumors. Richardson definitely lost weight, don't know how much. Petrino apparently grew 3 inches because he's listed at 6'0'' and there's no way he's taller than 5'9''.
