Nice to see at least somebody sticking around.

That's awesome, but Ford is going places. I'll give it 2-3 years and we'll likely be back in the same boat. Coachless.Gotta give the athletic department credit.
They got on him fast and got a deal done.
Thomas Ford Jr. is the guy. Best choice available IMO.

Well Gawlik has been good with football hires thus far but there are definitely plenty of other problem areas. The volleyball coach situation was pretty awful. That's awesome, but Ford is going places. I'll give it 2-3 years and we'll likely be back in the same boat. Coachless.
Glad to see the Athletic Department has some pull. Scott Green & Terry Gawlik seem to be a good combo.
Didn't hear about the Volleyball coaching situation.Well Gawlik has been good with football hires thus far but there are definitely plenty of other problem areas. The volleyball coach situation was pretty awful.
Hearing Matt Linehan as OC which I'm not as high on. I was hoping they'd bring in somebody with play calling experience and keep Matt on as WR or QB coach.
Guess we'll see. Hopefullly he crushes it.Didn't hear about the Volleyball coaching situation.
Ford brings a decent amount of offensive knowledge with him. The combination of his knowledge & a coach who played QB could work out pretty well. Judging by interviews of Linehan you can tell he's a good candidate to lead the offense.

Men's team is actually decent for the first time this decade. Wish they could string some more wins together. They're just inconsistent right now.![]()

Hoping for same Vandals playoff football in the Kibbie Dome on an ESPN channel. It's become an addiction to watch.Home slate is pretty crappy, but 6 games is nice.
Also no Montana State on the schedule.
WSU, SJSU, Montana, and Davis are highly likely L's with all the roster turnaround. WSU the first game may get ugly. I'm gonna guess they drop a few more games in the first year with Ford inheriting a gutted roster on defense. Hopefully no worse than 6-6 but 8-4 is possible and in the Big Sky I think that gets you into the playoffs.
Survived is a good word to use.Wood gets his first home W of the season... Survived St Thomas.
Yeah, I knew this going to be an L going in.Wasn't expecting the Vandals to compete with the Griz last weekend, but they surprised me (a little). I had fun watching the game & bantering with a Griz alum buddy of mine. Told him at the beginning of the game that I fully expected the score to be around 28-7 at the end, but the Vandals surprisingly got within reach.
Hope it goes better than the homecoming football game did.Taking my boys to the Bball game this Friday against BSU. Looking forward to it. Haven't played each other since 2014. GO VANDALS!!!
Yea, hope so too. Got their asses whippedHope it goes better than the homecoming football game did.
