That's awesome, but Ford is going places. I'll give it 2-3 years and we'll likely be back in the same boat. Coachless.

Glad to see the Athletic Department has some pull. Scott Green & Terry Gawlik seem to be a good combo.

Well Gawlik has been good with football hires thus far but there are definitely plenty of other problem areas. The volleyball coach situation was pretty awful.

Hearing Matt Linehan as OC which I'm not as high on. I was hoping they'd bring in somebody with play calling experience and keep Matt on as WR or QB coach.

Ford brings a decent amount of offensive knowledge with him. The combination of his knowledge & a coach who played QB could work out pretty well. Judging by interviews of Linehan you can tell he's a good candidate to lead the offense.

Men's team is actually decent for the first time this decade. Wish they could string some more wins together. They're just inconsistent right now.

I'm gonna guess they drop a few more games in the first year with Ford inheriting a gutted roster on defense. Hopefully no worse than 6-6 but 8-4 is possible and in the Big Sky I think that gets you into the playoffs.

Wasn't expecting the Vandals to compete with the Griz last weekend, but they surprised me (a little). I had fun watching the game & bantering with a Griz alum buddy of mine. Told him at the beginning of the game that I fully expected the score to be around 28-7 at the end, but the Vandals surprisingly got within reach.

Yeah, I knew this going to be an L going in.

Also, Idaho has pretty much shit the bed every time they've end up on ESPN or ESPN2 in one of these Big Sky night games.

Unfortunately they're playing on ESPN2 against NAU later this year.

Glad one of the basketball teams did something this year. Kinda crazy given how Moreira up in this position, but not gonna complain.

The "Stach Madness" thing is retarded as hell. Nobody wants to go to Boise for any reason in March but whatever. Hope the Women's team can make the tourney. The Men's teams has basically zero shot right now and somehow that's an improvement from recent years.
