two thoughts.....

1. Whoever says "eating healthy is expensive" isn't doing it right.... I've spent 150 in the last two weeks at hy-vee, my fridge is packed, my freezer is packed- both were pretty much empty at the start. I used go into hy-vee and drop 50 bucks on dinner for two easily..

2. Whoever the dumbfuck who started the whole BPI "pink slime" smear campaign against lean finely textured beef- has never saw/touched ground turkey- that shit be pink slime.....

(^^^^^^^^^^ subject still pisses me off^^^^^^^^^^^)

Problem is, you can eat cheap if you go buy a bunch of noodles, rice, chips, bread, etc...

That stuff just makes you fat though. It's just carbs........and that's it.

Protein is what is needed to build muscle and burn fat. Protein, protein, and more protein..........exactly how God intended it to be. Eat thee animals of the Earth sirs.

I always smh when folks are like "yea I bought a bunch of noodles and rice fer cheap and I figure I'll get slim this way."

Ye will get nothing but fat if you base yourn meals on some sort of filler like noodles or rice.

Needs to be all meat and veggies.

A lot of people don't realize it, but authentic Asian food doesn't really have noodles in it........they base their meals around meat, vegetables, and rice.

Over here we like to take cheese and then throw it on some noodles and shove it down our throats. Basically we just take the worst of everything and throw it together cuz it tastes good.
