No, that's the 12th penalty by the Lions. Seattle has 9... 21 penalties Jesus lmao. Sloppy game by both teams.
That Arnold guy going to be running laps till he figures out how to stop himself from committing blatant penalties

Why the hell did Seattle go for two early on when down by only 8?

I hate Detroits in game decision making, but that one made no sense.

Analytics says you have a great chance of getting one of the two 2 pt conversion tries. So if you get the 1st one you have an advantage. If you fail good chance at landing the 2nd.

I think if you are gonna get cute with your analytics, you should do it with a lead, not from 2 scores down personally. What the analytics doesnt say is if you fail the 1st one how the other team now can play against you.
I agree it is stupid, but when people look at the scenario in a vacuum. It says good play. (but it isnt)

There was a bit more getting cute in this game than I like to see.

Thanks for the post. The grump old man in me blocked out all logic anyone could have for doing such a thing. lol

Yeah, I think the same way. If you are ahead and doing it to make the other team need 2 scores, it makes sense. But when you are 2 TDs down late, my thought is to think about tying the game first before you can win it. You've been chasing the score all game. Sadly, the refs missed the fact that the first conversion actually was successful but that is really neither here nor there. Seattle wasn't going to win that game without a Detroit mistake and turnover or 2. I like the fight in my team though. Not going to get too down about this loss. We were due and the Lions are a damn good team. Back home for the Giants. Hopefully don't overlook them and just handle business and then have a huge 4 game stretch starting with the Niners to see where we are at. Just hoping for guys to get healthy now.

Anybody that thinks he isn’t good has a tough battle in front of them.

Cuz holy eff. They suck without him.
I don't know if I would go so far as to say he's good. I think he has some good qualities and is above average and can look good when everything is clicking in that offense. However, he has some things that work against him. He's not very athletic, has an average arm, is inconsistent off script and is injury prone. The offense is completely geared to hiding his deficiencies and Miami has never really had a backup plan. McDaniels basically becomes Adam Gase when Tua and the offense don't have everything going perfectly. It's a big reason why they can't beat any real teams when it matters. Their defense is also kinda middle of the pack so can't carry them when the offense struggles. Seemingly ignoring the fact that they need a capable backup kinda falls on the FO though.
