It's like any other chain restruant- it depends on whether the guy that is actually cooking your steak actually cares/knows what he is doing...

I had a group of friends who just loved texas roadhouse- some nights it was pretty damn good- some nights I wanted my money back...

And like you said in your other post, you can get some good food there, but too inconsistent based on who's working.....

I go to Farmer Brown's, Anthony's, Johnny's Cafe, Cascio's, or Piccolo's for steak.

The only chain I've been to (twice) is Outback. Their Prime Rib was good with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Garden Salad.
