They might not even be in the top 25 by the time they play Bama if they lose @Tenn and to UGA. But if they beat Tenn, they will be at least #5 or #6 next week (Stanford and Oregon play each other Thurs). How crazy is that?

nobody has beaten Tenn in regulation time at home in Neyland this year. Tennessee took UGA to OT at home (lost by three in OT) then beat South Carolina at home before their two blowout losses on the road to Bama and Mizzou in their last two games. if Tenn has their home mojo going, they could drop Auburn. but they struggled at home vs South Alabama after suffering back to back road losses to Oregon and Florida before getting their home mojo back the next two weeks v UGA and South Carolina

Actually Tenn was up 31-7 on South Alabama late in the 3rd Qtr. So looks like Tenn blew them out then Tenn's garbage time players struggled vs South Alabama

a win over any sec team...even if they are complete garbage but you still have to fake injuries to slow them down...is like beating the number 2 or 3 team on the road in any other conference...and a&m's whooping of utep was pretty impressive too

But Urban Meyer had three 13-1 teams within a four year span in the SEC, and those three teams went 22-2 vs the rest of the SEC and won two NCs. And Urbie is an undefeated 21-0 since taking over as coach of the 1 in the B1 / Big One conference

In the Mike Gundy era, what the hell has OSU done that leads you to believe you can throw stones at Auburn (or ANY SEC team)???

From 2005 through 2012.

Overall: Auburn is 67-35-0 and OSU is 67-35-0

Vs Top 10 teams . Aub is 8-11-0 and OSU is 1-10-0 (that's 8 more games for Auburn)

Vs ranked opponents ; Aub is 16-23-0 and OSU is 10-19-0 (that's 10 more games for Auburn)

As for unwarranted rankings, in the "Gundy era" OSU has been ranked 3 times in the final AP poll (2008, 2010, and 2011) and was a combined 32-7-0. In the "Gundy era" Auburn has been ranked 4 times (2005, 2006, 2007, 2010) and was a combined 43-9-0. However to get those rankings Auburn was 7-3-0 vs Top 10 teams and was 13-6-0 vs ranked teams. Meanwhile, OSU was 1-4-0 vs top 10 teams and 7-6-0 vs ranked teams.

im willing to wager that auburn does no better than .200 in a 5 game schedule consisting of ucla, stanford, oregon, baylor, & osu
