I think you have to bring Donaldson back, he seems to love it here. Hopefully DK is back as well.

I think Markakis is back as a starter early in the year until Pache/Waters come up in June, whichever one doesn't start out with the club at the beginning of the season.

The big question is, what do we with Riley. He's the 3B of the future, but where does he fit next year. Too bad we don't have the DH in the NL

That's a possibility. I didn't realize we had an option on him for next season either, thought it was a walk year for him. If he were on the market, I wouldn't be willing to pay him what he'd be asking for.

Agreed. Pick up the option, get Anderson up. Phase out Julio unless he's repeating this year and then let him walk after next October

I'd cream my britches if we got Rendon.

But if we bring back Donaldson or sign Rendon, I think we're gonna have to flip one of Pache, Waters or Riley. The Rays are about due to ship some players off. They have a few starters I'd be interested in.

Boy, we really dodged a bullet by not signing Kimbrel. He has sucked worse than Luke Jackson ever did for us for the Cubs, and he's going to the DL for the second time. Guess his struggles late last season and in the playoffs were real. He's a reliever, he should have had an easier time starting late into the season than a starter like Keuchel.

Before the season, I hated AA, but he's done a great fucking job this season.
