Bring in Julio or Fried and save a player from an already short bench.

I doubt Duvall has ever been asked to bunt. He's a power hitter, and not much else at the plate. Yeah, he's still gotta try to do what he's asked to do, but that was piss poor management putting him in that spot. If you're gonna bring somebody off the bench to bunt, under normal circumstances you bring in Charlie or Johan, but since they're both in the lineup, you bring in either Julio or Fried.

When you bring in a guy like Duvall off the bench, you're hoping he's gonna put one over the fence.
