Everybody always says that Newk might have the best stuff on the team, but if that's the case, why are his strikeout totals so low?

Folty by far has the best stuff on the team. He'll frustrate the hell out of you at times, but when he's on, he's damn near unhittable.

I think Newk hides the ball well. His velocity isn't really that impressive. His lack of control works against him (big time). You don't get close strike calls from umps when you are all over the place. Hitters are in favorable counts too often.

The Cubs' guy in LF has helped us with his glove (dropped FB before Ender HR) and also chased a couple Ball Fours.

Top of the lineup killing it for us tonight.

Reminds me a lot of Folty 2 seasons ago. Folty still needs to get better about his pitch count but he would consistently be at 80 pitches thru 4.

Folty still has work to do no doubt, but it's been a while since I've seen a pitcher grow in one season as much as Folty did from 2017 to last season. Shame he's banged up, and I'd expect some rust when he does get back.
