Nice first inning from Folty.

I'll probably jinx him by saying this, but he might not go as deep as regular as the others, but if you go by numbers, Folty is a true ace this season, and he seems to be at his best when we really need a win or when he's facing another team's ace.

What he did in Boston was more impressive than the CG shutout IMO because of opponent, location, opposing pitcher and the team being in the final game of a rough road trip.

Folty will be on regular rest for Fried's next scheduled start. Seems like a no brainer to me.

4 game winning streaks are worthless win you lose the 3 before it and then lose the next 4. This has been pathetic. We're gonna have to win the last two games of the series just to have a winning record of a road trip we started 4-0 on.

These last 4 games from our starting pitching has been some of the worst pitching I've ever seen.

Newk, Teheran and Fried couldn't throw a strike and Folty is throwing batting practice.

It's pretty well impossible for me to be happy after this roadtrip. It's gonna require a comeback tonight and a win in the last two games of the series.

This might be the 10 game losing streak that puts us behind. With the shit pitching and no offense, I don't see a win in sight. It's a fucking shame.
