We're still riding that nice April and first half of May. We've been mediocre ever since. Only chance we have to make the playoffs is if the Phillies and Nats are just as mediocre as we are.

Carle was good but Winkler sucks now and his ERA has climbed over 3.

I won't be happy with .500, but it looks like that's where the team is headed. Especially with a front office that I'm not sure even gives a damn.

And we failed to reach an agreement with our first round pick. Dude's gonna go to Mississippi State. Medical exams aren't allowed until after the selection is made, so it's not as bad on the FO and scouting team as it sounds like, but it sucks. We'll get an extra first rounder next year though.

I didnt like the pick anyways...i thought they were 3 or 4 better choices....including that Singer kid from UF.

I've read that we did really good in the rest of the draft too. It sucks, but we'll get the extra first round pick next year, and I think we reached a bit taking him that high as well.

Ozzie got a little too aggressive there, but as many runs as that has got us this year, I won't complain.

More importantly, Freddie got a hard hit double.

Markakis and Suzuki hit bullets too. Nice plays on both.

That Brewers pitcher reminds me of Folty when he's off. 0-2 to everyone, but can't finish them off.

If they do that, they'd seriously be better off forfeiting.

I'd rather let some 18 year old rookie league pitcher start than watch our bullpen try to cover an entire game.
