He was pretty good on the road last year, even at Nationals Park. Have zero confidence in him this year though.

Only real thing we have going for us is despite him getting killed, we are 2-0 in his starts this season.

It is weird because during the beginning of last year, I saw several Braves fans on social media get pissed at Joe because he thought that Teheran was just a de facto ace, and not a true one due to his poor W-L record.

It is weird because during the beginning of last year, I saw several Braves fans on social media get pissed at Joe because he thought that Teheran was just a de facto ace, and not a true one due to his poor W-L record.

He's not an ace, even in his good years, he wasn't an ace.

Even last year, he would have been a solid 3rd guy in the rotation, but we haven't had a true ace since Tim Hudson. Folty and Newcomb have the stuff of an ace, and we've seen flashes of it, but whether they'll ever be able to harness it is yet to be seen.

Ship him off to San Fran for a decent middle reliever and I'd be happy. With Bumgarner and Samardzija out, and that big ball park, and the marine layer, I can't think of a better scenario for Teheran to have success again.

We have a retard behind home plate that has cost him at least two strikeouts. The leadoff walk this inning, and Rendon in the first inning.
