Fucking soft contact hits have been killing us lately. Soft line drive single and an infield hit to start the inning.

Bour always hits us hard though. Most annoying player in the game for me. At least guys like Harper and Realmuto are legitimately great players. Bour does by far his best work against us.

Man, once Newcomb learns to have better control of all his pitches he is gonna be a legitimate ace. So impressive what he has done these last 3 starts. Him and Soroka will give us a solid 1 and 2 next year, with Gohara,Allard, and Folty being a great 3,4, and 5.

Teheran is still gonna be here, and if he keeps up what he's doing, he should still be here.

I would try and trade him. He is only 27 and has already lost 5 mph on his FB. He use to throw 94, now he is 89-90. I would also try and trade Camargo, especially with Riley looking like he is soon to be ready.

You don't have to be a flame thrower to be an effective pitcher, He can still run it up to 93 when needed. Fact is, he is only 27, he's on a very team friendly contract, and he's been very effective this season. And I like Allard and Gohara's potential, but if we replace Teheran with one of them, our rotation will be worse.

He never has been and he never will be an ace, but are you gonna feel comfortable next season if nobody in our rotation has more than a couple years of experience? I mean, it seems like he's been around forever, but he's just a few years older than Newcomb.

And with the rotation you posted, Folty would be the veteran of the group. I know I wouldn't be comfortable with that. He has a lot of potential, but is mentally the weakest of the bunch.

Plus we're in first right now. If we're still near the top come July, I'm gonna be pretty pissed if we start selling key pieces.

As it currently stands, I'd rather trade Folty if we had to trade one. Folty unquestionably has better stuff, but I doubt he'll ever have the mental toughness required to be a top of the rotation guy, but given his stuff, I think we could get a better return for him.

If someone blows us away with an offer then we have no choice. There's a price on every player.

As it stands now, I'd like next year's rotation to be:

1. Newcomb
2. Teheran
3. Soroka
4. Folty
5. Allard

If we trade Folty, move Allard to 4th and either have Kyle Wright or Gohara at 5. I'm not as high on Gohara as most though.
