Having a center fielder in left field really helps the outfield defense, especially when the guy playing centerfield is arguably the best defensive CF in the game.

I still think AA wants Acuna in CF and is gonna trade Ender.

I know the MVP conversations were this year for Freddie but IMO he was much better in 2016 and 2017.

In 2016, he would have been the MVP if we wee a contender. Last year he might have been in the conversation anyways had he not broken his wrist.

Salvaged a split. Much needed off day tomorrow. Use it wisely. The hottest team in baseball is coming to town on Tuesday.

But a road split isn't the end of the world. Would have been nice to have taken advantage and put another game up on the Phillies, but we didn't lose any ground either.

Maybe the day off will benefit the offense. Pitching has been great.

13-9 in the 22 games in 20 days stretch too.

Offense was terrible for the whole road trip, but still went 5-2. I'll take it.

Whole team has to be worn out.
