When Carlos Perez is the only bench option left, just let the pitcher hit. You have pretty much the same odds of them doing something productive, and you'll still have a backup catcher in case of emergency.

i mean, there is a good chance that Camargo hitting .300 last year in less than a full season was a fluke, but at least let him prove it on the field. Him having to go through hoops (Flaherty/Bautista) just to reclaim the starting job back after he got hurt is dumb.

Johan should start the rest of this season but the way its looking Austin Riley is gonna be ready to start next season so hopefully Camargo plays well and we can get a big haul for him or even try him in RF next year.

And this is why I hate starting a series against a slumping team where all of their key players are in hitting droughts. They have to snap out of it sometime, and it seems like they do against us every time we get in that situation.
