Oh Yea them too but if he is at 3rd then their mindset changes to just putting it in play instead of getting a hit. But yes, they were pathetic as well.

I was listening on the radio, and the announcers were pretty adamant that Dansby got screwed there. An extremely late called strike 3 on what should have been ball 4.

But at the same time, in that moment, I don't care if you bunt twice, you have to tie the game.

Folty wasn't great today, but 5 innings and 2 runs should be plenty good enough to win against a team having a bullpen game..

Yeah,he got hosed but the Strikeout wouldnt have been so bad if he wouldnt have swung and barely tipped a pitch that was nowhere near a strike when Ozzie had 3rd stolen probably without even a throw. But Freddie and Nick came up small too.

It was one of those annoying games he pitches where he goes 3 balls to everyone, throws a million pitches, but doesnt give up that many runs.

Austin Riley is on DL with a knee sprain. I would like to see him this year but I think our FO is going to try and do him like Acuna next year to get the Extra Year.


Speaking of Acuna, he hit off a tee and jogged yesterday. They are trying to get him back by the Padres series next weekend.

I said after his last start that me need to shop McCarthy out while he still has some value. That mild early June day was getting to him. If that's the case, we don't need him around for July and August when the dog days set in.

I would have took a chance and sent Culberson since he was running with the pitch. If it works out, we get the lead. If he gets thrown out, Anibal Sanchez has about the same odds of getting a leadoff hit as Ozzie does here lately.
