I know more than you think. I also know they won't be able to compete. You need top line talent in the SEC West and right now you aren't getting it. Out of the top 100 rated players in the state the last three years, you've landed 6. That's TERRIBLE man, no matter how you slice it.

That's a recipe for failure given your competition. If you can't see the obviousness of this, I don't know what to tell you.

Teams will ABUSE him on the field forcing him to cover.......he'll get smoked. With that lack of speed he's a situational player at best......but more than likely unless he's hulk strong he won't be in the starting rotation. Might get spun down to DE.

OK. When teams line up a slot WR that runs a 4.3 what is he going to do? Hell he can't keep up with most TEs.....he'll get ABUSED.

I'd be willing to bet A&M has as many 4-5* players as Texas, if not more. They'll also probably give Texas a run for their money in total wins this year.

Don't see A&M in here, do you? When I say they haven't recruited well in state the last 3 years I mean they haven't recruited well instate the last 3 years. They are NOT getting the talent you think they are.

Overall, they've done better than Texas in recruiting the last 4 years. Texas had a better class in 2016, but 2013-2015 A&M had better classes with more 4-5* recruits overall. Also, given the mass exodus of players when Strong came, I stand by my assertion that A&M has more overall 4-5* guys on their roster.

Oh it does. You see, it's June......and most of the big fish are still on the board. As those 4 and 5 star players commit, YOUR team ranking will drop. Schools that didn't load up on 3 stars will have room for better players.....and will climb the rankings. That's how this works.

This is partly why you don't take a bunch of 3 star guys in freaking JUNE.

We only took one 3 star in June the rest were 4 stars.

I don't disagree with your second paragraph. They're definitely on a downward slope compared to Texas right now. They need to right the ship fast. Honestly, I was shocked Mond committed.

Mond was a great get for them. They have to follow it up tho with quality. And that schedule, outside of their guaranteed 4 cupcakes OOC, isn't looking all that great. They can't keep coming in nearly dead last in their half of the conference and land anyone.

Texas is landing this talent after 5-7. Think about that. Kids clearly want to go to Texas. That shouldn't be the case but the negative momentum at A&M is obvious right now.
