So obviously if the Suns wanted Aldridge in a sign-and-trade, since he is unrestricted he would have to agree to it. Why would he want to help the Blazers when he can just go sign with a team lol

Yeah, the Suns will only get him if he wants to go there. A sign and trade would mean an extra year for him, though, so there is incentive for him.

Aldridge wasn't impressed with the meeting with the Lakers even with Kobe in the room. Apparently the old Lakers pitch magic has gone south or maybe he is just not a good fit. D. Jordon is probably the guy that will sign. If not, I like an UDFA center we have that is looking pretty good at this juncture.
