Not blinded by hate, he's very hateable. Do you know how many comparisons have been made between Belichick and Emperor Palpatine? Or there's a long sequence on Family Guy where they need to convince Bill Belichick to smile so that God will stop punishing the Patriots.

Reporters tend to dislike him because he's not particularly good interview/press conference guy. And then there's the whole video-taping thing.

The point is, he's easy to hate.

No I don't know how many comparisons have been made and I do not watch Family Guy.

I find him quite easy to like. I hate BS too.

And he was decent enough to do Rescue Me.

I feel that if Bill Belichik was a hockey coach, he'd be Herb Brooks. I can see why a lot would hate him.

In all seriousness, I don't know how someone doesn't know that Belichick isn't the type of guy that is liked all that much in the NFL? You hear story after story from players and anyone who covers the NFL about how much of a dick he is, and how unprofessional he is.

He can win all the games he wants, but that doesn't change the fact that people hate his personality, or how he conducts himself as a human being. Next to him, even plaid wallpaper would be charming and likeable.


Oh, and just like Dorothy Mantooth, Mary Levy is a Saint!!!!
