If Nebraska had an average defense, this game would be over. I say we would have a 28-3 lead. This defense is what I expected it to be... Atrocious! Pelini is into his 5th year here at Nebraska. There's no excuse for our defense to be this bad.

Another thing... Why didn't Pelini call a timeout when we had about 1.20 on the clock? Isn't a TD better than a field goal?

Probably didnt want to risk giving them more time to maybe score if they converted on 3rd down since we really never stopped them in first half.

Moral of the story (and it applies to you guys): Don't put yourself in a position to have a Pac 12 replay official deciding a game between a Pac team and B1G team. You aren't gonna win that battle.

At least this offense has the capability to keep NU in this game. the last few years we couldn't say that.

I'll be realistic with everyone here. Even though the B1G looks like shit this year, our defense is going to make even the worst of offenses look good. We will have to out gun every team we play, and I absolutely hate when my team has a great O and shitty D. I'd rather have a great D and a shitty O.
